New beverages for pets that like to run the beach, as well as senior pets in need of some extra hydration and help with their joints are being debuted by Animal Business Concepts, LLC at the 2007 HH Backer Global Pet Expo, Oct. 12 to 14 in Chicago.

'Our pet beverages are manufactured according to strict pharmaceutical standards for human consumption, although people might not appreciate some of the flavors,' said Marybeth Mason, ABC's director of business development. 'We wanted to get the flavor right for every pet 80 percent of the time, and we use USP water with a shelf life of two years.'

The COOL PET® line of hydration products are good for two weeks after they are opened, making them a good choice for pet emergency kits and stocking shelves in preparation for emergency disasters -- when you are on your own with pets for the first 72 hours.
