A place to spruce up and socialize: Bark 'N Bubbles
Self-Service Dog Wash at 795 Center Street in downtown Herndon,
Virginia. "We give clients everything they need to get their
pets squeaky clean and have fun doing it," said co-owner Pam
Ahart.. The spa features Paul Mitchell pet products, such as
oatmeal conditioning rince and instant detangling spray. "We
are also the home of the blueberry facial," Ahart said.
"That is a pet-safe aromatherapy that will not irritate their
eyes or nose. It is a tearless face wash, shampoo and brightener
that has coconut oil, jojoba, aloe, blueberry, avocado and vitamins
A, D and E."
Bark 'N Bubbles features five wash stations for dogs on its
upper level. The lower level offers coffee, latte and a high-speed
Internet connection, as well as a Bark Lounge where dogs can enjoy
a vitamin-infused "Bark-A-Cino" served in a bowl.
